COLLEGIATE ACADEMY at O.D. Wyatt High School
The Collegiate Academy at O. D. Wyatt High School will open its doors in August 2019 with its inaugural 9th grade student cohort. The Collegiate Academy, formally called the Dual Credit Scholars Program, was developed in 2016 through the financial support of Fort Worth Children’s Partnership and Rainwater Foundation. The Scholars Program was designed to provide students from feeder middle schools, The Leadership Academy at Forest Oak, Morningside Middle School, and Rosemont Middle School, an opportunity to earn up to 60 college credit hours toward an associate’s degree concurrently pursuing their high school diplomas. College credit hours are earned from TCCD South Campus and students experience an intense and rigorous program with support to excel. Since the 2017-2018 school year, 68 students have earned between 7 and 19 dual credit hours as 9th, 10th, and 11th graders in the Dual Credit Scholars Program.
OUR MISSION IS “Preparing ALL students for success in college, career, and community leadership."
